KCAC began as a British charity in 2007. In January 2010 the arts centre opened
in Kathmandu. In summer 2010 KCAC began the process to achieve charitable
status in the USA. We will start running events when this comes through.

THE BRONX MUSEUM
KCAC is now working with the
Bronx Museum as part of the US
State Department’s new public
art/cultural diplomacy initiative,
"smART Power", a new initiative
sending 15 American artists and
collaborative artist teams to 15
countries world-wide to engage
in people-to-people diplomacy
through the visual arts. In January
2012 Pepon Osorio will begin
working with KCAC.

THE VERMONT STUDIO CENTER
KCAC is delighted to be working with the Vermont Studio Center which was founded by artists in 1984. It is the largest international artists' and writers' Residency Program in the United States, hosting 50 visual artists and writers each month from across the country
and around the world.
The Studio Center provides 4-12 week studio residencies on an historic 30-building campus along the Gihon River in Johnson, Vermont, a village in the heart of the northern Green Mountains. We are looking forward to helping send our Nepali artists-in-residence there.
