In 2006 Sangeeta Thapa (KCAC Founder Director) curated “Khulla Dhoka”/Open Door a large exhibition in Kathmandu. 108 full-sized doors were donated and painted or carved, bringing together artists, poets and musicians from many countries. The exhibition was organised by her gallery the Siddhartha Art Gallery.
